 Luloah was born out of my love of belly dancing, which I discovered by chance in 2005. The time soon arrived, for my first class performance, so I dusted off my sewing machine and worked out how to make a pair of  glitzy harem pants. My class mates were so impressed, I was soon making pants for them too. After this orders started to trickle in for more harem pants and skirts and I found the creativity good therapy in my battle against depression. Finally the company was launched in May 2010 as I said goodbye to a 26 year career as a nurse and of course I haven’t looked back since.

 

I take my inspiration from the wealth of fabulous fabrics I have available on my doorstep, then see how they can be best used within my costuming ranges.  In my Main Rail you'll find my signature unique gypsy skirts, harem pants in a variety of widths and hip wear for performance and practice. Cholis can be found in my Tribal Essentials range , available in different fabrics and many colour choices. Here you can also order other repeatable designs -  harem pants and skirts in plain fabrics.

Diva! is my collaboration with The Tribal Temptress and features costuming designed for the tribal fusion dancer. Together we can create for you a unique complete fusion costume, with coordinating skirt/ bra/ belt/ pants/ halter top/ headdress. 

Busker's Baggage is Luloah's  venture into making instrument covers/ bags and the like and coincides with my own personal journey into musicianship. You tell me what you need and I'll tell you if it's possible!

All costume pieces are individually and uniquely designed and crafted by Luloah and many can be made in your own choice of colour, fabric or size, although, to ensure exclusivity, no item can be reproduced exactly the same (except for my Tribal Essentials range).  Many costume pieces can be altered to fit for a small charge: just ask and I'll let you know if it's possible.
